Despite anti-government protests Murabak forms cabinet
The president of Egypt Hosni Murabak is under scrutiny from the civilians of Egypt who demands his resignation. For the past week thousands of civilians protest in the street facing off against the egyptian military. Despite demonstration President Murabak swore in Mahmoud Wagdi as Interior Minister. It seems as if Murabak is not looking to end his reign as president as he have for the past couple of decades. From what i learned Egypt is an allie of the United States, President Barack Obama has weighed in on the matter only asking for Murabak to take heed to what his people is calling for. Im guessing since Egypt is an allie of the U.S.A then he doesnt want to intervene to quickly or send US troops. Regardless this issue needs to be resolved in the best way it can. As this situation unfolds, the most important development that would need to happen is that democracy prevails.
